OUR MISSION: Raise 19,000 dollars to build a school in rural Cambodia.

WHY: Many girls are forced into brothels to become prostitutes for the rest of their lives. Some are tricked or kidnapped by sex traffickers, but others go willingly thinking that they can make a living by being a prostitute. Many of them contract STDs such as AIDS. With proper education, we believe, as do other international organizations concerned with Cambodia, that these girls would be less likely to end up in a brothel.

WHAT: For 19,000 dollars we can build a school that will educate about 400 students. Only about 14% of teachers in Cambodia have had a high school education. We can provide a fully qualified English teacher for a year and a computer. We hope to continually sponsor the each year and build more schools as our group grows. The organization we are working through is called American Assistance for Cambodia.
